1. Kickstart your engine
I am definitely not asking you to transform into Iron Man, but if you can, hello, I am your biggest fan!
Okay, going off topic here. *clears throat*
What I am trying to say is do it! Do not think of the what ifs, just do it. START it. It is not game over if you do, the game is still loading. What do you have to lose?
Stop hesitating, and make a way forward to achieving your dreams! Change them into reality. Don’t let others tell you otherwise. Don’t let anyone dull your sparkle.
MAKE THE FIRST MOVE.
AND thinking about your dream isn’t the same as doing something about it. If ya love teaching, teach, if ya love beatboxing, beatbox, if ya want to perform on America’s Got Talent, go and sign up!
Sure it is going to be difficult at times, and ya gonna or probably make mistakes during your first tries, but that is okay. That is alright even for that is the way the cookie crumbles, ya STILL will never give up ’cause determination is the key to unlock your destination.
JUST get ready to hold on tight, because it is going to be a bumpy ride.
2. It takes TIME
I wish I could tell my younger self this.
These things take time.
Maybe days. Maybe weeks. Maybe months. Maybe years!
But it is our determinations that strives us to do our very best. It may take lots and lots of time to develop the skills that you want to make a living out of.
Even if it takes a long time, it is still worth it. It is worth putting yourself out there and doing what you are meant to do.
Don’t let fear stop you.
Chasing a dream might be the scariest thing that one will face. You may feel like it is a solitary journey, make friends while you’re at it, but do what makes your soul shine.
Don’t let fear win. Don’t let fear take control of your destiny.
Take it from me; this is my 6th attempt to become a blogger. I am still finding my way and learning as I go. Even if it takes me multiple tries for this baby to become a blog to be proud of. This is all a work in progress. It sure won’t happen overnight. It takes time and hard work and persistence and determination.
3. Celebrate the littlest things
I also wish I could tell my teen self this.
Even if you think you are doing little, or you feel like your dreams are impossible to reach, or feel like you’re not doing enough to make them come true. Put away these thoughts!
Know that even the smallest things can make a big impact on your life.
You came a long way to get here. BE proud of how hard you are succeeding! You’re only halfway through so celebrate your winnings even if they are big or small.
You’re a warrior who has now conquered your dream.
That is all from me. Hope this post helps you see the stars better OR push you a little closer to your dreams. Even if you think that these stars are out of reach, they are closer than ya realise.
