Every year, there’s one zodiac that’s the Emperor or “Yearly Grand Duke (Tai Sui)” for the year — This year, it’s the Rat.
How do you determine whether this year is good for your sign?
Jane Hor, Feng Shui Master, says: “How do you determine whether this year is good for you? You’ll have to see the relationships between the Rat and the other animals.”
“At the bottom of each prediction, check your Zodiac animal on how well it will perform this year. So if you are number 1, you will have the best luck.” Now, let’s start with the first Zodiac, the Rat.
1. Person born in the year of the Rat (1948, 1960, 1972, 1984, 1996, 2008, 2020)
Surprisingly, 2020 won’t necessarily be a good year for the Rat. As they are the designated Emperor, there are a lot of things that weigh heavily on their mind.
In terms of Career — For those in employment, your chance to get promoted is high. Your Zodiac sign is affected by a star called the Golden Chest, so you will make money from a side hustle, but expect that money to be easy come, easy go.
In terms of Love — You will be a bit moody this year, and your partner will find it difficult to understand your mood swings. Communicate what is on your mind to your partner, and don’t let them suffer in silence.
The Rat’s Zodiac Ranking is… No. 9 out of 12!
2. Person born in the year of the Ox (1949, 1961, 1973, 1985, 1997, 2009)
The year for the Ox is quite good. The Ox and Rat are hidden best friends, which signifies that the Ox’s circle of friends and contacts will expand this year.
In terms of Career — Watch out for a “Nobleman”: a high-ranking official, angel investor, manager, or work superior that will give you great opportunity. Having a good relationship with people means a higher likelihood of social spending, so take precautions from overspending.
In terms of Love — This is a good opportunity for singles to meet someone new. But married couples beware: you will be tempted to have a third party relationship.
The Ox’s Zodiac Ranking is… No. 2 out of 12!
3. Person born in the year of the Tiger (1950, 1962, 1974, 1986, 1998, 2010)
This year the tiger will spend a lot of time or effort on a project, but all the reward and recognition is likely to go to others instead. Tigers must be extra careful not to overextend when helping others.
In terms of Career — Those who are in a business that needs a smooth talker will do well, such as lawyers, telemarketers, radio DJs, emcees, and others. For tigers in other industries, others are likely to take the credit for your hard work instead, so be prepared to speak up for your accomplishments.
In terms of Love — Try not to have high hopes, single tigers. You may find that due to travelling a lot, you will drift away from loved ones and become more ‘distant’ as a result. Talk more, call more often, and communicate more to make up for it.
The Tiger’s Zodiac Ranking is… No. 10 out of 12!
4. Person born in the year of the Rabbit (1951, 1963, 1975, 1987, 1999, 2011)
For the Rabbit, although it’s considered slightly clashing with the Yearly Grand Duke, there’s a lot of chances for you to meet a lot of ‘Noblemen’ who will guide you towards a good opportunity.
In terms of Career — Look out for a female ‘Nobleman’ in your workplace or business dealings. Try not to lend out money, it’s unlikely you’ll see a return on investment. Do watch what you say carefully, and watch your steps, and you will have a good year.
In terms of Love — whether you’re single or in a stable relationship, this is a good year to find the right love bunny to fall in love with and get married to. However, a certain third party may cause trouble for those married, so guard your nuptials carefully.
The Rabbit’s Zodiac rank is… No. 3 out of 12!
5. Person born in the year of the Dragon (1952, 1964, 1976, 1988, 2000, 2012)
The Dragon should follow all rules and regulations this year, or you will be backstabbed by people who gossip about you.
In terms of Career — Dragons should keep the fire burning, as their salary will be their source of income. For those who are in creative roles, the Elegant Seal Sign reveals that you will soar on a fresh burst of creativity. But for those in non-creative roles, you will simply overthink a lot instead.
In terms of Love — You will enjoy good interpersonal relationships, but will have bouts of low mood. You may find yourself overthinking your partner’s feelings. Be careful when speaking; don’t say anything impulsive in the heat of the moment.
The Dragon’s Zodiac rank is…No. 5 out of 12!
6. Person born in the year of the Snake (1953, 1965, 1977, 1989, 2001, 2013)
The Snake went through a lot of changes last year due to clashing with the Pig. Don’t focus too hard on getting your life back on track, as there will gradually be an improvement in your situation. You’ll see a lot of ‘Noblemen’ giving you a helping hand.
In terms of Career — Be extra careful around your colleagues or staff members. Much gossiping, arguments and backstabbing will rule your year.
In terms of Love — There will be a lot of gatherings, and the tendency to participate in group activities indicate a good social life for you. But take heed, as it’s highly likely you will meet someone with fake intentions.
The Snake’s Zodiac rank is…No. 6 out of 12!
7. Person born in the year of the Horse (1954, 1966, 1978, 1990, 2002, 2014)
This year will be the year of change for the Horse. For those during the Spring and Summer period (May to August), you will encounter good changes. For those born in Fall or Winter, you will experience bad changes.
In terms of your Career — Think carefully about your next roaming grounds. Be extra careful with signing a contract, as the chances of a lawsuit is particularly high.
In terms of Love — You’ll have an equally high chance to get married, have a baby, break up, or have a divorce. For those who are married, expect to get moody and lose control of your emotions, which may influence you to make the wrong decision.
The Horse’s Zodiac rank is….No. 12!
8. Person born in the year of the Goat (1955, 1967, 1979, 1991, 2003, 2015)
Next year your sign will clash with the Ox, 2021’s emperor, so grab the goat by the horns and pick your path forward this year.
In terms of Career — Don’t waste any time, grab each opportunity that you see to advance your career. This is also a good year for you to purchase property, but do watch your investments closely.
In terms of Love — Your fortunes are not so good in relationships. For those single, you may misinterpret a platonic relationship for a romantic one. For those married, there will be a chance for a relationship with a family member to turn sour.
The Goat’s Zodiac rank is…No. 4 out of 12!
9. Person born in the year of the Monkey (1956, 1968, 1980, 1992, 2004, 2016)
Monkeys will have a great social life this year. Just be aware that these friends won’t help you per se, you’ll have to rely on your own effort to see things through.
In terms of Career — If you are self-employed, don’t be too risky with taking your business places. There are many who seek an opportunity to set a trap for you, with fake promises of wealth. Consider investing in oneself.
In terms of Love — You will have a lot of chances to meet people, but your connections will mostly be friendship, not love. For those married Monkeys, much gossip will be flung around about your partner, but hear no evil and it won’t affect you.
The Monkey’s Zodiac rank is….No. 11 out of 12!
10. Person born in the year of the Rooster (1957, 1969, 1981, 1993, 2005, 2017)
The Rooster is the numero uno ranked zodiac this year. Many unexpected windfalls will come flying to the Rooster’s destiny, but do keep a low profile and don’t show off like a peacock.
In terms of Career — expect the unexpected: a promotion, recognition by the boss, the chance to win a lottery. If you go into a new business, you will excel at it. Yet, be on the lookout for someone chipping away at your business, like the pecking of a rooster.
In terms of Love — Now’s a good chance to get married or having a baby. You may also have the opportunity for a short, yet meaningful relationship. For those who are married, this could be a scandal or a fling, so be careful!
The Rooster’s Zodiac rank is….No.1 out of 12!
11. Person born in the year of the Dog (1958, 1970, 1982, 1994, 2006, 2018)
Be alert, for you will face unexpected challenges this year, and must react fast to solve the problem before it gets too serious. This is a year for you to take preventative measures to safeguard your savings.
In terms of Career — For whatever you spend on, there’s a net gain to you. Many others will compete with you for opportunity, so bare your fangs and give no quarter. You may find yourself fighting for the scraps.
In terms of Love — For those unmarried or with short term relationships, you may find yourself single again. If you’re married, you will try to be a recluse. Widen your social relationships, don’t stay chained up at home.
The Dog’s Zodiac rank is…No. 7 out of 12!
12. Person born in the year of the Pig (1959, 1971, 1983, 1995, 2007, 2019)
This is the year of careful planning from the Pig, not quite the time for execution. Be especially careful with your belongings, as there’s a higher chance that you will lose them.
In terms of Career — Don’t be too kanchiong (hasty) to get ahead, having set your sights on a higher promotion. You’ll have the chance to have a breakthrough and get that much-sought after appreciation from the boss.
In terms of Love — It’s very easy for you to fall in love with others. This isn’t bad, but you may end up falling in love with those who are married. In other words, you may actually be the third party. Remember how to control your feelings, and don’t get too sentimental over what might have been.
The Zodiac Sign of the Pig is Rank Number 8 out of 12!
A Disclaimer:
The year of the Rat does not begin until Spring officially starts. This year, Spring officially starts on 4th Feb 2020.
Secondly, a person’s “Ba Zi” (The Four Pillars Of Destiny) is calculated by their birth year, birth month, birth day, and birth time.
Knowing your birth year only carries 10-15% of the weight of the prediction. Unless you check an app like the Bazi Calculator or purchase Jane Hor’s book, the day pillar is actually more important.
