I am 32 years old now and I’ve learned that everyone’s definition of success varies.
My advice to others out there is to just know what you want in life. Experience is important, but that’s not the main thing. There’s more to life than money.

My definition of success used to revolve around money, but now it’s about having the time to spend with family and friends.
Of course, I need to earn a certain amount because I have commitments. But I would like a role where I can have the best of both worlds.

My turning point was when my parents told me that I looked unhappy (in my job).
In my previous role, I wasn’t really there much for my family because I was too occupied with work. I missed milestones, celebrations, and gatherings with my loved ones.

I quit my job at the time without any backup plan.
But I already had offers to go through training for corporate bodies, and those were freelance jobs, so I thought that would be enough for me to keep me running for the next couple of months.
It’s been going well, but it isn’t stable because work only comes in when the clients call me up. I’m looking for something more stable but not as stressful as my previous role.
